Tatley-Grund was selected as the general contractor to perform the $9.5 million two-year exterior restoration of this 25-story condominium overlooking Seattle's Elliot Bay, the largest condominium remediation project in the Pacific Northwest. The scope of work included fixed frame scaffolding with weather enclosure capable of withstanding storm winds from Puget Sound, interior protection, replacement of exterior windows and doors, EIFS cladding repairs and re-sloping of decks.
Utilizing TG's Laboratory Testing Chamber, installation procedures and techniques were perfected prior to putting into place the new windows and doors. Our unique ability to test our installations brings assurance that the new components and interface details will perform.
In addition to the exterior work TG was awarded $2.5 million in interior restoration work. Each of the 210 units required restoration of interior finishes affected by the window and door replacement. The high-end finishes in the units include special paint and wall covering, cabinetry, flooring and carpets.
